After successfully conducting our 23rd CPR & Pre Hospital Care Training Workshop at Sarat Mancha, at Asansol Police line, on 18th February, 2017 our next achievement was organizing the 24th CPR & Pre Hospital Care Training Workshop at Ranaghat S.D.O Old Meeting Hall on 29th June, 2017. Save Life Foundation team reached the venue at 10:30 am. After completing full arrangements, we started the participant’s registration from 12.00 noon along with a gift consisting a folder containing a note book, a pen, leaflet having EMS concept and Save Life Foundation objectives and purpose of highway rescue project to all the participants. Programme started at 12.30 pm with the welcome address by Mrs. Madhupriya Bose (Secretary of Save Life Foundation). She also highlighted the purpose and need of organizing such workshops on EMS and Golden Hour Concept before the audience. The Pre hospital Care training workshop started by one of the Trustee Member of Save Life Foundation, Dr. Anjan Pan (Member of West Bengal Orthopaedic Association and Chairman Trauma Committee). He showed basic practice on pre hospital care in case of orthopaedic injury, and how to take care of an injured victim during transportation. Dr. Pan showed a real video documentary in which the attitude of the first responders’ (Indian scenario and a western country’s scenario) was displayed. He emphasized the importance of proper technique of rescue and “Care at Scene” with a comparison of attitude of our country and Western country. He also briefed the type of Injury which a ‘Road Traffic Accident Victim’ might suffer from the impact of different kind of accidents. Dr. Anjan Datta Trustee member of Save Life Foundation (Member of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ West Bengal State Branch, Past National President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ HQ) briefed the new guidelines of CPR, issued by American Heart Association in 2015. He explained C A B sequences of CPR consisted of the following steps: • Compressions – Apply pressure to the victim’s chest • Airways – Tilt the victim’s head and lift chin to open the airway • Breathing – Pinch the victim’s nose and breath in to the mouth The C - A - B (Compressions, Airway, and Breathing) sequences teaches rescuers to perform chest pressure before anything else. Dr. Datta explained the use of AED (Automated External defibrillator) machine. All the participants practised CPR on a Mannequin carried by us. Refreshments were distributed among all the participants and the officials present in the programme. Following persons were present at the seminar • 47 number of Civic Police. • 9 number of Police Officers. • 11 number of Gram Panchayat Member & Block Development Office Staff. • 7 number of Ambulance Provider • 8 number of Hospital & BPHC staff. Total participants in the programme were 82.

We were honored and delighted to organize our 25thCPR , Pre hospital Care and First Aid training workshop in association with Howrah (Rural) district police on 29th July, 2017 . Save Life Foundation team reached the venue at 9:30AM. After completing full arrangements, we started the participant’s registration from 10.30AM. All the Participants were handed over a folder containing a note book, a pen, EMS Brochures, leaflet and Save Life Foundation objectives as well as purpose of Highway Rescue Project. The programwas inaugurated at 11.00 AM with the welcome address by Ms. Madhupriya Bose, Secretary,Save Life Foundation. She highlighted the purpose and need of organizing such workshops for the Police personnel. The Guests were greeted with flower bouquets. Unfortunately, SP Shri Sumit Kumar, IPS, could not attend the programme due to his prior engagements regarding the flood situation of the district. Shri Arnab Biswas , WBPS, Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ) , Howrah (Rural) District Police consented to be the Chief Guest of the programme. Shri Anirban Hem Roy DSP ( Traffic/ Ap) and DSP ) District enforcement Branch , Shri Bishwarup Banerjee were present on the dais as Guest Of Honour and Special Guest respectively in the programme. Shri Arnab Biswas delivered his speech in this programme. The training workshop was conducted by Dr. Anjan Datta (Trustee Members of Save Life Foundation and. Member of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ West Bengal State Branch, and Ex National President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ HQ. And Dr Anjan Pan, Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, member of Orthopaedic Association and Chairman Trauma Care Committee, West Bengal. In the first session of the workshop Dr. Datta delivered his speech on “First aid” and its application.He described the following situation where first aid can be applied to stabilize the patients: • External bleeding • Amputation • Crush Injury • Orthopedic Injury • Nose Bleed • Abrasion ( graze) • Puncture wound • Internal Bleeding • Fire • Drowning In each cases as first responders what one should “Do” or “Not To Do” and help the victims. Our next speaker was Dr. Anjan Pan , who showed the basic practice of Pre Hospital Care His demonstration and lecture included - how to take care of an injured victim during transportation to the nearest health centre. He showed the technique of carrying a patient who is suffering from hand or leg fracture or pelvic or spinal cord injury. Dr. Pan used the materials like towel, news paper (which is easily available)to prevent a patient from further deterioration during transportation. He also briefed the importance of having knowledge in operating oxygen cylinder in the ambulance. In the concluding part of the programme Dr. Datta delivered lecture on CPR before starting practise by the participants. He explained the need of CPR for Cardiac Patient, and when and how to start CPR if required. Dr. Datta also explained the meaning and application of “Circulation – Airways - Breathings” or C-A – B of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. Dr. Pan demonstrated the AED machine required in Shock treatment to resuscitate. Finally the practise of CPR was started in Manikin by the participants under the observation of both Dr Datta and Dr. Pan. Refreshments were distributed among all the participants and the officials present, at the end of the programme. Following persons were present at the seminar Police Officers - 24 Rapid Action Forces - 4 Civic Police Volunteers - 69 Total participants in the programme were 97.

   
26th Pre Hospital Care & CPR (BLS TRAINING WORKSHOP) AT OFFICE OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE BANKURA :

Our organization was invited by Superintendent of Police, Bankura District Police Shri Shukhendu Hira, IPS to conduct a training programme for his force in the auditorium hall of his office. We gladly accepted his invitation though our area of activity is not within his jurisdiction. We decided to organize our 26th training workshop at Bankura on 14th September, 2017. Which would be our third programme in financial year 2017-18. We reached at the SP office in the evening on 13th September with our full team. We stayed overnight at SP guests house under his warm hospitality. Our programme was scheduled to start at 10 Am. so we reached at the auditorium hall around 8 am in the morning for arrangement. We were provided with all kind of support from their end. We handed over a plastic jacket which containing a writing pad, a pen, one Brochure on our organization and another brochure on EMS along with two Bengali leaflets depicting the concept of GOLDEN HOUR AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE and Supreme Court Judgement and Good Samaritan issued by Govt. Of West Bengal. The programme was inaugurated by DSP (Traffic) Shri UdayBannerjee of Bankura District Police in absence of ShirShukhendu Hira IPS, SP of Bankura District Police who went to receive Shri Shibaji Ghosh, IPS, (Principle secretary, Prison) at that moment. Superintendent of Police joined with us after one hour. In his speech he explained the need of such training and expressed his gratitude towards our organization on behalf of Bankura District Police. Shri UdaiBannerjee (DSP, Traffic) briefed the purpose of this training programme towards 108 audiences who were the officer in charge of 25 police station of Bankuara District,2 number SDPOs of the District and one Sub Inspector and one assistant sub inspector of 25 police stations. Few media people was also present there to cover the programme. Next our secretary addressed the audience describing the activities of Save Life Foundation and the concept of “GOLDEN HOUR AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE” which is the prime concern of this HIGHWAY RESCUE PROJECT. Immediately after the speech, our programme was started with the lecture of Dr. Anjan Datta, Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, past National President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ and a renowned medical professional in this field. Dr. Datta dividedhis lecture in two parts – 1. First Aid and Pre Hospital Care During transportation of a trauma patient. 2. Lecture and demonstration on Cardio pulmonary resseccination. In the first aid and Pre Hospital part he emphasized on the following cases: • Bleeding ( how to control and what to do as a first responders’) • Fracture (External or internal how to treat and bandage with the available things around the place) • Shocking • Burn • Wounds • Snake bite Dr. Datta taught the Police officer present in the training programme through slight presentation that what we need to do to handle Emergency situation and before arriving of a doctor or medical centre for an organized help. Dr. Datta demonstrated the “Heimlich Manoeuvre” in case of handling choking in first aid practise. Carrying an injured patient properly was another topic of his lecture. He explained how to handle a spinal cord injured patient, a limb fractured patient and also how to make stature during shifting a road traffic accident victim with the available thing around the spot. In the second session of the lecture, CPR was discussed. Dr. Datta explained what is CPR and under what condition CPR needed to apply to a patient. While demonstrating, he explained three major steps which is C – A – B in CPR. Along with this he spoke about anatomy part relevant to make the people understand the CPR. Finally he called the audience for practise CPR in the Manikin The programme was ended with vote of thanks given by DSP (Traffic), Bankura District Police, Shri UdaiBannerjee and entire Save Life Foundation team were honoured with a Memento given by Bankura District Police. A beautiful lunch was arranged by the authority for all the participants and guest. After completing full arrangements, the registration of the participants started at 11:15 AM. We handed over a file to all the participants like earlier occasions. The files contained a note book, a pen, a brochure with EMS concept and a folder with Save Life Foundation activities and details of our operation as complementary. Dr. Datta in his speech highlighted basic technique of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). In these video presentation steps of performing CPR was shown. His lecture on C A B (sequences of CPR) consisting following steps: Compressions – Apply pressure to the victim’s chest Airways – Tilt the victim’s head and lift chin to open the airway Breathing – Pinch the victim’s nose and breathe in to the mouth. Dr. Datta explained the use of AED (Automated External defibrillator) machine in a video presentation. Along with it, he also showed the ‘Recovery Position’ of a victim after an accident, which helps maintain an open airway and reduces risk of breathlessness. He finally ended his presentation by showing Heimlich Manoeuvre and spoken about first aid. Then he briefed the new guidelines of CPR. The Second session started with the presentation of Dr. Anjan Pan. His presentation included Trauma, Golden Hour, Type of Ambulances, and Star of Life. He explained “TRIAGE” which means management of victims where huge number of victim is involved. Dr. Pan showed different type of bandage with available materials during transportation to prevent further detorietion of fractured limbs. In video presentation he explained the type of injury which may occur resulting from different type of collision. He showed basic practice of pre hospital care and how to take care of an injured victim during transportation to the nearest health facility. He emphasized the importance of proper technique of rescuing through “Care at Scene” presentation.

   
36th Pre Hospital Care & CPR (BLS Training Workshop) At Panskura Super Speciality Hospital Panskura:

After successfully conducting our earlier Workshop at Police Line Hooghly Rural Police on 9th August, 2018, we were able to arranged ( after confirming loan from third party because of non availability of our fund ) our 36th Pre Hospital Care and CPR Training Workshop in Panskura Super Speciality Hospital on 16th January, 2019. Our SLF team reached the premise of the Panskura Super Speciality Hospital at about 11:00 AM. We were provided with all kind of support from their end for hall arrangements and decoration. The participants started their registration after completing OPD and morning shift at 1:00 PM. We handed over a plastic jacket which containing a writing pad, a pen, one Brochure on our organization and another brochure on EMS along with Bengali leaflets depicting the concept of GOLDEN HOUR AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE and Supreme Court Judgement and Good Samaritan issued by Govt. Of West Bengal. Program started at 1.30 PM with an introductory speech given by Ms. Madhupriya Bose (Secretary, Save Life Foundation) in her speech, she explained the importance and necessity of organizing such workshops on EMS in order to recapitulate the entire system by the hospital staffs when they are attending a trauma patient at hospital and also as by standanders’ helping a person who needs immediate care before shifting to the nearby hospital or medical centre. The training workshop started with the presentation by Dr. Anjan Pan (Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, Orthopaedic (Surgeon), Member of West Bengal Orthopaedic Association and Chairman, Trauma Committee). His presentation included Trauma, Golden Hour, Type of Ambulances, and Star of Life. Dr. Pan showed pitiable condition of Indian road which causing serious accidents. He also described about the modern concept of Platinum 10 Minutes in rescue process. Dr. Pan also presented different type of bandage with available materials use them as splints to protect fractured limbs during transportation to prevent further deterioration .In video presentation he explained the type of injury which may occur resulting from different type of collision. If a first responder is able to brief the type of collision, it helps the attending doctors to locate the injuries. In his video presentation he described “how to lift” a fractured patient from ground level and remove the helmet of a two wheeler rider keeping the airways clear. The Second session started with the presentation of Dr. Anjan Datta (Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, Past National President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ HQ). Before starting the lecture Dr. Datta requested to all participants to pay homage "A minute of Silence" for the very sad demise of a very young and talented cricketer Mr Aniket Sharma from kharagpur who lost his life from massive Cardiac Arrest at Cricket Ground field on 15th january 2019. At very first Dr. Datta put some data to the audience. He showed the no of cardiac arrests happening in Europe which is very much alarming and survival to hospital discharge was very much poor. In India no database has been made on this particular subject. So Dr. Datta gave an importance note for Bystander CPR which can play vital intervention before arrival of an emergency services and early resuscitation and prompt defibrillation (within 1 or 2 minute) can result less than 60% of survival. He also put data on total number of road accidents in West Bengal during 2005-2017 and across India out of which total number of death, fatal injuries etc. In his speech he explained the difference between Heart Attack and Sudden Cardiac Arrest and application of CPR. Dr Datta described about Critical Steps of Modern CPR which is C – A - B, where C stands for Chest compression , A stands for Airways opening and B stands for Breathing. He specifically highlighted that a rescuer should check that there are no hazards to caregiver before proceeding to treat the patient. While briefing CAB he explained chest compression rate should be 100 – 120 times in one minute and two rescue breaths after 30 compressions. Dr. Datta explained Triple Airway manoeuvre (head tilt, jaw thrust and open mouth). Participants present in the hall also seen the use of AED (Automated External defibrillator) machine in a video presentation. Finally he showed the ‘Recovery Position’ of a victim after regaining his sense with CPR , which helps to keep the airway open and reduces risk of breathlessness. Dr. Datta in his presentation showed a video where shiftment of a patient in a stature was described. In stretcher the navigator will hold the foot end and the other person will hold the head end that will always be able to keep eyes on the patient. After that we had break from 3:10 PM to 3:20 PM. All the participants practiced CPR on Mannequins (hired from Orthopedic Association) It was a three hours program which ended with great appreciations from the participants. After successfully conducting our earlier Workshop at Om Dayal Group of Institution, Howrah District, on 28th July, 2018, we arranged our 35th Pre Hospital Care and CPR Training Workshop in Police Line Hooghly Rural Police, Natun Bazar at Singur on 9th August, 2018. Our SLF team reached the premise of the Police Line at 12:30 PM. After completing full arrangements, the registration of the participants started at 1:15 PM. We handed over a file to all the participants like earlier occasions. The files contained a note book, a pen, a brochure with EMS concept and a folder with Save Life Foundation activities and details of our operation as complementary. Program started at 2 PM with the welcome address by Ms. Ishani Paul IPS (Additional Superintendent of Police, Hooghly District). She, in her speech, encouraged the participants to take part in the training programme in a responsive way and highlighted the purpose of such workshops in front of the Participants. She also asked the participants to submit their feedback report, which after reviewing they can arrange further training workshop. Then Ms. Madhupriya Bose (Secretary, Save Life Foundation) in her speech, explained the importance and necessity of organizing such workshops on EMS and Golden Hour Concept in front of the Participants. The training workshop started with the presentation by Dr. Anjan Pan (Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, Orthopaedic (Surgeon), Member of West Bengal Orthopaedic Association and Chairman, Trauma Committee). All the participants practiced CPR on two Mannequins (One of them hired from Orthopedic Association) It was a three & half hours program which ended with great appreciations from the participants. AWARENESS PROGRAM ON POST ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT & CPR AT GLOBAL INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY KRISHNANAGAR NADIA:

Save Life Foundation was invited by Global Institute of Management, located at Palpara (Krishnanagar) to participate at their annual program on Road Safety awareness and Pre Hospital Care. The program was held on 6th February 2019 from 12:00 Noon in the seminar hall known as ‘Global Knowledge Campus’ at the premise of the institute. Save Life Foundation Secretary, Mrs. Madhupriya Bose and Assistant Project Coordinators, Mr. Kallol Dey and Mr. Aveek Ray represented at the program on behalf of the organization. The main speakers along with our Secretary, who were present in the seminar, were OC; Kotowali PS, Mr. Raktim Chatterjee, OC (Women wing); Kotowali PS, Ms. Ranumita Roy, Krishnanagar Traffic Inspector, Mr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, Chairman; Global Institute of Management Mr Naresh Chandra Das, Principal; Global Institute of Management Mr Barun Halder and other official staffs of the institute. The guests, from the state police department, spoke mainly on the road safety and accident awareness topics. The principle of the Global Institute spoke on the topic of responsibilities and activities of students on Road Safety. Finally SLF Secretary, Mrs. Madhupriya Bose gave a power point presentation on BLS, Pre Hospital Care. First she explained the death ratio in road traffic accidents in India, Golden Hour, and responsibility of a by-stander as well as the Supreme Court’s Law. Then she spoke on Emergency Medical Service (BLS), Pre Hospital Care explaining Scene Survey and Cause of death showing slides on how to keep airways open and bleeding control. She showed different types of bandage with available materials and uses of splints to protect fractured limbs during transportation to prevent further deterioration. In video presentation she explained the type of injury which may occur resulting from different types of collision of vehicles. If a first responder is able to brief the type of collision, it helps the attending doctors to locate the injuries. In her video presentation she described “how to lift” a patient who has sustained spine injury, neck injury or limb injury from ground level as well as the proper way of carrying a patient in a stretcher. Her speech also included the method of ‘triage’. Further she explained the Heimlich maneuver process to rescue someone from chocking, critical steps of modern CPR, aim of resuscitation, C-A-B and process of CPR as well as recovery position through video presentation. Around 70 students from Global Institute of Management and adjoining schools of the area including their teachers attended the program. The participating teachers and students were overwhelmed with the presentation of our Secretary and requested us to organize such programs at their respective institutes. The program ended at around 3 PM with the vote of thanks from the management of the Institute.

   
37TH CPR & PRE HOSPITAL CARE (BLS) TRAINING AT BERHAMPORE SP OFFICE, MURSHIDABAD WORKSHOP :

After successfully conducting our earlier Workshops, we have arranged our 37th Pre Hospital Care and CPR Training Workshop in Berhmapore SP Office (Murshidabad) on 20th July, 2019. The registration started at 10:30 AM. After registration we handed over a plastic folder containing a writing pad, a pen, one Brochure on our organization and another brochure on EMS. Program started at 11:00 AM with an introductory speech by Ms. Madhupriya Bose (Secretary, Save Life Foundation) where she explained about our organization and the importance as well as necessity of organizing such workshops on EMS. The training workshop started with the presentation of Dr. Anjan Pan (Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, Orthopaedic (Surgeon), Member of West Bengal Orthopaedic Association and Chairman, Trauma Committee). His presentation included Trauma, Golden Hour, Type of Ambulances and Shifting of victims. The Second session started with the presentation of Dr. Anjan Datta (Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, Past National President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ HQ). He described about Critical Steps of Modern CPR, Triple Airway manoeuvre and showed a video on how to shift a patient in a stretcher. After a 30 minutes break for refreshment (which we organised) all the participants practiced CPR on the Mannequins. Total number of participants were 63 from 27 police stations under Murshidabad District Police. DSP Traffic, Murshidabad District, Mr. Dipanjan Bhattacharjee (WBPS) coordinated with us for the whole program. 28 number of Police officer 4 number of Constable. 25 number of Civic Police 5 number of Homeguards DSP Traffic. 38th CPR & Pre Hospital Care (BLS Training Workshop) At Uluberia Sub Divisional & Super Speciality Hospital:

After successfully conducting our earlier Workshop at Berhampore SP Office on 20th July, 2019 we arranged our 38th Pre Hospital Care and CPR Training Workshop at Uluberia SD and Super Speciality Hospital. Our SLF team reached Uluberia Hospital at 10:00 AM. After completing full arrangements, the registration of the participants started from 11:45 AM. We handed over acomplementary folder to all the participants like earlier occasions which contained a writing pad, a pen, one Brochure on our organization and another brochure on EMS and details of our project. Program started at 12:30 PM with an introductory speech by Ms. Madhupriya Bose (Secretary, Save Life Foundation) where she explained about our organization and the importance as well as necessity of organizing such workshops on EMS and Golden Hour Concept in front of the Participants. The training workshop started with the presentation by Dr. Anjan Pan (Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, Orthopaedic (Surgeon), Member of West Bengal Orthopaedic Association and Chairman, Trauma Committee). His presentation consisted Trauma, Origin of the Golden Hour and First Aid. He also mentioned about the Platinum 15 minutes described by Dr. R. A. Cawley. He spoke about the type of Ambulances and basic requirement inside an Ambulance. His presentation consisted different types of bandage with available materials and uses of splints to protect fractured limbs of a victim during transportation to prevent further deterioration. In video presentation he explained the type of injury which may occur resulting from different types of collisions. If a first responder is able to brief the type of collision, it helps the attending doctors to identify the injuries. In his video presentation he described “how to lift” a fractured patient from the ground and remove the helmet of a two wheeler rider keeping the airways clear. The Second session started with the presentation of Dr. AnjanDatta (Trustee member of Save Life Foundation, Past National President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ HQ). Dr. Datta started his speech with Hypoxia in Cardiac arrest and followed by Acidosis. He spoke and explained the C A B (sequences of CPR) consisted of the following steps: Compressions –Push Heart and fast on the centre of the victim’s chest Airways – Tilt the victim’s head back and lift chin to open the airway Breathing – Pinch the victim’s nose and breathe in to the mouth. Dr. Datta, in his speech, highlighted basic technique of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). In his video presentation steps of performing CPR was shown. He also showed the new guide line of chest compression which should be 100 per minute to 120 per minute. He explained and showed on screen the details of Air way Anatomyand blood circulation system. Cont: 2 He finally ended his presentation by showing the use of AED (Automated External defibrillator) machine in a video presentation. All the participants practiced CPR on two Mannequins (one was carried by Dr. Anjan Pan with AED Trainer and the other Mannequin was carried by SLF). It was a three and half hour’s program which ended with great appreciations from the participants. At the end of the program we distributed food packet to all the participates. Total number of participants was 92 from different departments of Uluberia Hospital

After successfully conducting our 38th Workshop at Uluberia SD Hospital on 22nd August, 2019, we arranged our 39th Pre Hospital Care and CPR Training Workshop in Police Line, Hooghly Rural Police, Natun Bazar at Singur on 14th December, 2019. Our programme was scheduled to start at 12:30 PM. Our SLF team reached the premise of the Police Line at 10:30 PM. After completing full arrangements, the registration of the participants started at 12:00 hour. We handed over a file to all the participants like earlier occasions. The files contained a note book, a pen, a brochure with EMS concept and a folder with Save Life Foundation activities and details of our operation as complementary. Program started with the welcome address by Ms. Madhupriya Bose, Secretary, Save Life Foundation. She, in her speech, explained the importance and necessity of organizing such workshops on EMS and Golden Hour Concept to the Participants. Dr. Datta in his speech highlighted basic technique of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). In these video presentation steps of performing CPR was shown. His lecture on C A B (sequences of CPR) consisted following steps: Compressions – Apply pressure to the victim’s chest Airways – Tilt the victim’s head and lift chin to open the airway Breathing – Pinch the victim’s nose and breathe in to the mouth Dr. Datta explained blood circulation system in his presentation before commencing the technique of CPR. Dr. Datta explained the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) machine in a video presentation. Along with it, he also showed the ‘Recovery Position’ of a victim after regaining his sense with CPR, which helps to keep the airway open and reduces risk of breathlessness. He finally ended his presentation by showing Heimlich Manoeuvre which is applied to remove any particles stuck inside the trachea/ wind pipe. Then we gave a Tiffin break for the participants which Save Life Foundation arranged. After the break, all the participants practiced CPR on two Mannequins. It was a three & a half hours program which ended with great appreciations from the participants. Unfortunately, due to some unrest in the state, number of participants were less than it was promised by the police authorities. Inspector General was at Singur SP Office for some official work for which all the senior officials of Singur Rural Police were busy in a meeting with him. So, some officials like Superintendent of Police, Shri Tathagata Basu, IPS, Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Raj Narayan Mukherjee, IPS, SI Kaushik Das, Reserve Inspector, SI Suman Mondal, Multi Tasking Officer and other senior officials were unable to attend our programme. BLS training was attended by Civic Volunteers: 60 We had 12 participants from 6 Police stations which are covering NH – 2 under Hooghly Rural Police Dadpur : 02 Dhaniakhali : 02 Singur : 02 Gurap : 02 Chanditala : 02 Haripal : 02 Total : 12 18 Civic Volunteers participated from 9 Police Stations of Hooghly Rural Police (not covering National Highways) Arambagh : 02 Pandua : 02 Balagarh : 02 Tarakeshwar : 02 Goghat : 02 Pursura : 02 Polba : 02 Khanakul : 02 Traffic Unit : 02 Total : 18 Total participants in the program were 30.
